Got Ya!

Shh... Hush! Move softer than a leak!
Creep and crawl, slither and scatter
With your feathery feet, walk still
Or else, our plans of jest will end!

Titter, totter... There's our target!
Now, move even closer to peek
Is it clear? Are we ready to launch?
Count to three and we will soon send!

1... 2... 3! Colors form a streak
Across the sky and down the ground.
Splash! Splosh! Another on the cheek!
Water balloons, fire! Fire at will!

The target sees and goes ballistic!
Victory is ours, First of April!

The picture is from a website. Not my own. The poem is mine, anyway. :D

The form of the poetry is called Bref Double. This is my entry for *simplypoetry form prompt!

Yes! I did it! This poem of mine is my first poem in *simplypoetry!

Oh yea, my desired title for this was supposed to have an "!", but dA won't allow it at the title section... so I just put it in at the start of the poem.

Misconception is our only imperfection.

Thank you for the response!

The way in which you manage to make a simple joke like a waterballoon 'attack' like the most dangerous of missions is fun and entertaining to read. The onomatopea is also effective, really makes the poem come to life!

Your domain is a heaven of masquerades where i glued wings and wore a halo thinking i could see your hopes,i could hear your thoughts,i could tell you promises...
